Pascale Warda

Team member WP2, WP5 and WP7 Responsible for Iraq data collection & Attunement where possible within ethics
President of the Hammurabi Human Rights Organization and a former Iraqi Minister of Migration and Displacement. Warda has extensive experience in human rights advocacy, her work has focused on adapting national laws to European human rights standards, the protection of minorities and refugees. She has presented influential research on the political role of Iraqi women, the impact of the Iraq War on global geopolitics, and the plight of Christians and Yazidis under ISIS captivity. Warda has also contributed significantly to international dialogues on migration and the protection of human rights, with her studies and presentations recognized by major universities and global conferences. She was part of the research project Respond, Multi-level governance of mass migration in Europe and beyond funded by the European Union in 2018.
